National Policy & Strategy Publications (Ministry of Health, Ethiopia)
Among The following documents we have developed in partnership with the Ministry of Health and different Implementing Partners; some are already officially published and endorsed as national policy and strategy instruments and are currently used by federal and regional authorities and implementing partners. A few of them are under development and will be officially published and endorsed as official strategies at the national level.
1. National Adolescent and Youth Health (AYH) Strategy 2026–2030; Validated, waiting for endorsement and dissemination
A nationally endorsed strategy providing an evidence‑based, multisectoral framework to improve adolescent and youth health, equity, service quality, and meaningful youth engagement across health, education, protection, workplace, digital, and humanitarian platforms.
2. Bottleneck Analysis of Social and Behavior Change (SBC) for Family Planning-Manuscript finalized to be Published by WHO
A Ministry of Health–led national analysis identifying behavioral, social, and system barriers to family planning uptake, producing a national SBC framework to guide prioritized, high‑impact interventions and partner alignment.
3. National Effective Vaccine Management (EVM), Temperature Monitoring, and Vaccine Wastage Assessment, and CIP Development
A nationally implemented assessment generating quality‑assured evidence on cold chain performance, vaccine handling, and wastage, informing corrective actions and strengthening Ethiopia’s immunization system.
4. National Infertility Care and Management Guideline
Ethiopia’s first comprehensive, rights‑based national guideline standardizing infertility prevention, diagnosis, management, and referral within the public health system, integrating medical, psychosocial, and gender considerations.
5. National RMNCH Innovation Prioritization, Costing, and Scale‑Up Framework-Near to final
A Ministry of Health–led framework guiding evidence‑based selection, costing, and scale‑up of high‑impact RMNCH innovations based on feasibility, affordability, and health system readiness.
6. National Family Planning Costed Implementation Plan (CIP)
A nationally adopted costed investment roadmap translating family planning policy priorities into financing, implementation, and scale‑up actions aligned with FP2030 commitments.
7. National Financial Bottleneck Analysis for COVID‑19 Vaccines, Diagnostics, and Therapeutics
A phased national analysis assessing public health financing flows and constraints during the COVID‑19 response, informing reforms to improve efficiency, equity, and transparency under emergency conditions.
8. National Adolescent and Youth Health Services at Workplaces Policy / Minimum Service Package
An officially endorsed national policy guiding delivery of youth‑responsive health services in workplace settings, strengthening coordination across health, labor, and social sectors and improving access for young workers.
